Video Preview in Search Results

By | July 12, 2009

Bing Video Search helps you decide instantly to click or not some video. All you have to do is hover the mouse cursor over some video to see a short preview. Here’s how:

First, make sure that you have enabled all the Bing features. If you’re not from US, chances are some features will not be available. See how to enable Bing’s full features.
Now, if it’s all enabled, you shoud see on the left sidebar the Videos tab. Enter the search term and then click Videos.

Now, place the mouse over any video and you should see a short video preview. Neat, isn’t it?

Except that most of them say “Click to view video” – so you don’t get a preview.

Just recently, the majority of the videos now indicate “preview not available”. In the past I was able to access most videos. Can this be fixed? Thank you.
